4-String Pickup Routing Options
Pickup routs may be combined (i.e. P + J, J +MM, etc.)

Standard Precision (P Bass®)
(3.678" Neck)
Single PBass pickups are generally used in the neck position. It can be combined with other pickups in the bridge position (often a Jazz pickup) for more tonal options.
Fits most PBass pickups including Seymour Duncan and Lindy Fralin pickups.

Jazz pickups
3 5/8" Neck, 3 3/4" Bridge)
These two pickups are not interchangeable, the rear pickup is wider than the neck pickup to accommodate wider string spacing near the bridge.
Fits most JBass pickups including Seymour Duncan and Lindy Fralin pickups.
70s Bridge Pickup Reposition
With our 70's Jbass pickup reposition, we relocate the bridge pickup rout approximately 3/8" closer to the bridge. This increases the mid-range for that vintage 'burpy' tone. Very nice for Jaco styles and finger style players.

Music Man
(1.905" X 3.500" )
Single Music Man pickups are often placed in the "sweet spot", which is the traditional MM Stingray single pickup location. The MM pickup rout can be moved to the neck or bridge location when using more than one pickup.
Fits Seymour Duncan 4 string Music Man pickups.

Single Coil P pickup (SCPB)is most often found in the neck position on a '51 P Bass®. It can be combined with other pickups in the bridge position for more tonal options.

5-String Pickup Routing Options |

5 String J Bass® - Fender® Deluxe 5
(4" Neck, 4 1/8" Bridge)
This is the stock pickup size on genuine Fender® Deluxe 5 bodies. These two pickups are not interchangable. The rear pickup is wider than the front pickup.
Seymour Duncan SJ5 67/70 and SJ53 pickups fit this rout.

5 String JBass - 4 string neck and bridge routs
(3 5/8" Neck, 3 3/4" Bridge)
These two pickups are not interchangable. The rear pickup is wider than the front pickup. This spacing will work with some bar magnet type pickups. Be sure that the string sensing width is compatible with the Deluxe 5 string spread.
Fits Seymour Duncan SJB5 and AJB5 pickups.

Looks stock, however both pickup routs are for the wider 4 string bridge style pickup rout.
Fits Seymour Duncan SJ5 70/74 and DiMarzio Ultra Jazz 5.
